How to Enter

FOUR STEPS TO ENTERING

  1. Choose your category. Choose from 26 categories in four divisions: 1-Communication Management, 2-Communication Research, 3-Communication Training and Education, and 4-Communication Skills.
     
  2. Complete Part 1 of your entry by preparing your Work Plan (Div 1, 2, 3) or Entry Form (Div 4).

    Divisions 1, 2, and 3 require completing a detailed Work Plan in addition to submitting a Work Sample. Download the Silver Quill Work Plan Template for Divisions 1, 2, and 3.

    Division 4 requires completing questions on the online entry form and submitting a Work Sample.
     
  3. Complete Part 2 of your entry by preparing your Work Sample.
     
  4. Upload your entry online and submit payment: Enter to Win (you will need to register and create a login to submit your entry).

You can also refer to IABC's How-To Guides for the Gold Quill Awards for details on the criteria used to evaluate your entry  the Silver Quill Awards are evaluated using the same criteria as the IABC Gold Quill Awards.
 

Entry Requirements

WHO CAN ENTER

All communicators in IABC’s Pacific Plains Region. IABC members from other regions are also welcome to enter as members and simply select the Other IABC Region option on the entry form.
 

WHAT YOU CAN ENTER

Work implemented, published, or broadcast between Jan. 1, 2021, and the day of submission. Entries may be large or small projects from in-house, nonprofit, corporate, government, and educational departments, agencies, consultants, or sole practitioners. Multiple entries per entrant are welcome.
 

ENTRY DEADLINES

  • Early Bird Deadline (15-18% discount on fees): Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at 11:59 PM (PDT)
  • NEW! Final Deadline Extended: Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, at 11:59 PM (PDT)
